Our preferred method of payment is by EFT.
EFT payment processing 24-48 hrs + delivery.
EFT Transaction Fees and fees on Refunds:
EFT payments incur No processing fees and No refund fees.
EFT is available to the geographical land mass of Australian States and Territories Banking institutions only.

e-Way
Payment is available via the e-Way gateway, however you don’t need an e-Way account. The cards accepted are Visa and Mastercard. e-Way payments are fast and secure and are our preferred non cash method of payment.
e-Way provides secure, reliable and innovative Internet-based payment services to buyers around the world and sellers in Australia, New Zealand and the USA. You can use a credit card to make a payment in Australian Dollars, New Zealand Dollars, US Dollars or other currencies. You do NOT need to be registered with e-Way to make a Payment via credit card! We are also able to process your order manually over the phone or by fax if your internet connection or computer is not available. Additional security such as drivers licence or proof of identity may be required.
e-Way payment processing is between 24-48 hrs if made Monday - Thursday. Payments made on a Friday may not be process until the following Tuesday. Deliveries will be processed once the payment has cleared.
e-Way Transaction Fees and fees on Refunds:
The e-Way Payment Gateway dose not charge the buyer fees. However your issuing bank may bill you fees for transactions made through the e-Way Payment Gateway. These fees are not charged by Meerkat Computer Services nor will any fees charged be refunded by Meerkat Computer Services.
PayPal
Payment is available via the PayPal gateway, however you don’t need a PayPal account. The cards accepted are Visa and Mastercard. Payment by eCheque will take up to 10 days to process then an additional 3-5 days for delivery.
PayPal payment processing is instant - Deliveries will be processed once the payment has cleared excluding Weekends and Public Holidays.
PayPal is the fastest payment processing service we have currently available.
PayPal Transaction Fees and fees on Refunds:
Any fees charged by PayPal incurred through purchasing via the PayPal Gateway will be refunded by PayPal in the event of a refund request provided this request is made within the allowed timeframe set by PayPal. Meerkat Computer Services dose not charge fees or refund fees charged by PayPal.
Paymate
Unfortunately we have had to disable the PayMate gateway as of 3/5/11 until further notice due to a technical fault with the payment portal. PayMate have not been able to fix the issue and the service will be disabled until they are able to resolve the certificate error with www.paymate.com.au.
Payment is available via the Paymate gateway, however you don’t need a Paymate account. The cards accepted are Visa and Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
Paymate Transaction Fees and fees on Refunds:
Paymate charges all buyers a fee for using their Paymate Payment Gateway service. The fee is $3.50 inc GST per transaction up to $200.00 (Non Refundable) $200 and over and the fee is 2.4% of the total transaction (Also not refundable by Meerkat Computer Services). This fee is not charged by Meerkat Computer Services and is not refundable. To avoid paying fees Meerkat Computer Services recommends not using Credit Card payments and paying by EFT or PayPal. PayPal will refund fees if the request for a refund is made within the allowed timeframe. No fees apply to EFT transactions.
A note from PayMate regarding Fees on Refunds:
Note that Paymate will not refund fees on payments that are refunded to the buyer at the request of the buyer or the seller, since all costs have generally been incurred in processing the payment. We (PayMate) may also charge an additional (Not Refundable) processing fee of $3.00 + GST for each refund request.
PayMate Certificate Error -
Issue in place from April 20 2011 - current
Some clients who have selected the PayMate Gateway method for payment are seeing the following error when attempting to make a payment using the Paymate Gateway - www.paymate.com.au - "The Certificate for this web site is invalid" We are seeing this error in a number of browsers and have contacted Paymate to request an answer and a solution to the issue. If you are unsure about the security status of your data using the Paymate Gateway then please use one of the another methods available. We appologise for any inconvenience and are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
Paymate provides secure, reliable and innovative Internet-based payment services to buyers in 57 countries around the world and sellers in Australia, New Zealand and the USA. You can use a credit card to make a payment from any of 57 countries, in Australian Dollars, New Zealand Dollars, US Dollars or other currencies. You do NOT need to be registered with Paymate to make an Express Payment via credit card! You can also use Paymate to make secure payments to any registered Paymate client, without disclosing your personal or financial details.
PayMate payment processing is between 2-3 days if made Monday - Thursday. Payments made on a Friday may not be process until the following Tuesday. Deliveries will be processed once the payment has cleared.
ProForma Invoice
Should you prefer to not to enter your details online, you may email sales@meerkat-computers.com.au or ring to arrange invoice details be sent separately, or we can issue a pro-forma invoice with Visa / Mastercard, BPay or EFT payment options detailed.
2.0 Delivery
Delivery of goods will be organised once payment has been accepted and cleared by Meerkat Computer Services.
Goods supplied within Australia and will normally be delivered within 7 working days of receipt of order or less depending on the shipping method paid for to mainland delivery destinations.
We shall endeavour to meet agreed delivery dates, but in the event that dates cannot be met we will contact the buyer by email or telephone to arrange revised dates or refund.
Delivery of the goods shall be made to the buyer’s address specified in the order and the buyer shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the goods whenever they are tendered for delivery.
Shipping is by courier or registered post. The method of delivery is determined by the weight of the package.
Pickup
Pickup of orders is NOT possible unless you are prepared to pick up from the warehouse directly. Your order will ship from one or more of our warehouses in 4 different Australian States and cities. The State, city or warehouse may depend on the product/s ordered.
Post Office Boxes
As a rule most courier services will NOT deliver to Australia Post Office Mail Boxes. Alternative delivery services to Australia Post Office boxes may be available only if no other delivery address is available. Such as Australian Air Express if available.
Australia Post Standard Mail
Australia Post Standard mail deliveries for casual customers is NOT available. Unfortunately due to the high incidence of fraud we are forced to only use secure delivery services to insure the goods are actually delivered. All courier deliveries are tracked for this reason. A signature is required to show proof of delivery and all deliveries are traceable.
International Shipping
All Shipping prices quoted here on line are for Australian Continental Post Code delivery only. Please contact us for international shipping destination pricing.
3.0 Acceptance
All goods delivered to the buyer should be inspected at the time of delivery. Should the buyer find any faults or damages of the goods delivered, the buyer must notify Meerkat Computer Services in writing within 5 days from delivery of the goods. Should the buyer fail to report such issues prior to the 5 days, Meerkat Computer Services will deem the goods to be in working order without any faults or damages and any claims outside the 5 days will be handled in accordance without warranty policy described in clause 4.0.
4.0 Warranty
Meerkat Computer Services will not be held liable for any damages or loss caused by any goods sold to the buyer. In the event that goods are found to be faulty, it is the responsibility of the buyer to alert Meerkat Computer Services in writing of the known faults as soon as they are detected. Upon receipt of the complaint, Meerkat Computer Services will look into the complaint and issue an RMA reference number to the buyer.
Should the goods be deemed faulty, the goods will be replaced or repaired only if the goods are still covered under the manufacturer warranty. In this instance the goods will be sent out to the manufacturer and will be delivered to the buyer once they are deemed rectified. Should the goods be deemed faulty and fall outside the manufacturers warranty, the buyer will be advised and also notified of the costs to have the items repaired.
Any additional fees such as delivery charges or manufacturer testing charges will also be passed on to the buyer. Should the items be deemed faulty due to intentional or accidental damage caused directly by the buyer, then those items will not be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty and the buyer will be made responsible to cover any fees applied to Meerkat Computer Services during the handling of those goods.
5.0 Refunds / Exchange
Please ensure you have ordered and paid for the product you intended to purchase. Refunds / cancellations or exchanges will only be issued once your payment has cleared and / or the order has NOT left the warehouse. If the order has left the warehouse then refunds / cancellations or exchanges will only be possible once the item has been returned to the warehouse unopened AND in its original condition.
Products will be accepted for return back to the warehouse unopened in their original condition and packaging for up to 30 days form the shipping date. However once the product packaging seals have been opened the product will NOT be accepted unless its under warrantee.
Once orders have shipped Meerkat Computer Services will NOT under any circumstances issue a refund to the buyer for any goods purchased either online or directly through a consultant. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure all items purchased are indeed the item or items which they require prior to payment. Should the buyer change their mind and request a refund of the goods and the goods have actually shipped, Meerkat Computer Services will deny such requests until or if the goods are received back at the warehouse in the original shipping condition.
Should the item be faulty and covered under the manufacturer warranty as described in clause 4.0, Meerkat Computer Services will arrange for the repair or replacement.
